Ivan brings a rare combination of legal training and hands-on operational experience to employment law — anchored by a Juris Doctor and five years of hands-on experience in labor and employment matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and managing case files for workers and employees. That work has given him a strong grounding in labor rights, employment compliance, and case strategy, spanning defense of worker interests, navigating regulatory standards, and providing pro bono legal representation.
Day to day, Ivan moves employment cases forward: analyzing workplace grievances, drafting legal briefs and discovery responses, researching employment statutes and case law, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks in case preparation. He’s especially effective at turning complex employment records, financial data, and client histories into clear, well-organized case narratives.
Ivan earned his JD graduating in the top 4 of his class, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Silliman University. He is also a licensed Civil Engineer and a Registered Safety Officer. Combined with a decade of experience in banking operations, asset protection, and labor union advocacy, this background gives him an unusually broad skill set for handling technical data, workplace safety regulations, and labor compliance issues.
